Project Manager
Project Manager INVISTA is looking for a Project Manager to join our Camden, South Carolina team.
This position will lead cross-functional project teams to efficiently implement capital/expense improvements to meet specific business objectives.
Our Team The projects team is accountable for project planning, design development, and execution, including creation of schedules, cost estimates, and scope of work for the entire Camden plant.
What You Will Do Manage the development and execution of capital and expense projects from a conceptional state to completion.
Lead a project team consisting of engineers, operations, construction, and vendors to ensure all aspects of the project are properly considered, including scope selection, safety, environmental, construction, operations, and reliability.
Provide regular communications and feedback to the team of overall status, critical issues, milestones, EcoSys project development, and necessary resources to support the overall project plan.
Coordinate comprehensive project execution plans, including but not limited to design, risk mitigation, budget, and integrated schedule planning.
Apply effective project controls in capital execution, including estimating, scheduling, cost engineering, forecasting, management of change (Including proper use of challenge process) and reporting.
Must be able to meet all physical requirements for this role (i.
e.
wear and use of required PPE, ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment) Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 2
years of experience in project development and execution Previous experience leading high-performing teams and managing multiple initiatives, priorities and/or projects Experience communicating with various levels of an organization (engineers, managers, senior leadership, constructors) Previous experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams) Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field 5
years of project management experience 5
